Todd Valeri Elected President of California Ambulance Association (CAA)
Todd Valeri, President and Chief Executive Officer of American Ambulance, has been elected President of the California Ambulance Association (CAA). He will lead the statewide membership organization whose strategic focus is the delivery of excellent pre-hospital care to the people of California.
Todd Valeri has been a committed member of the California Ambulance Association for many years, serving as a Board Member, Ethics and Professionalism Committee Member and Legislative Committee Vice Chair, and Vice President. He has most recently served as the CAA’s representative on the California State EMS Commission. He is also a founding member and secretary of the 9-1-1 Ambulance Providers Alliance. With more than 10 years of progressive leadership experience, Mr. Valeri drives innovative efforts around improving care delivery and providing safe, quality care with an exceptional patient experience. Mr. Valeri leads an organization of over 700 employees that operate over 100 ambulances in Central California. The private ambulance company covers a service area that includes a population of over one million people across both Fresno and Kings Counties. His 37 years in the EMS industry coupled with his MBA training and experience on various local boards, will make him an immediately impactful and productive leader for the CAA.
In his role as President, Mr. Valeri will work with the association’s leadership to advance the quality of emergency and non emergency medical services for all Californians. He also vows to increase the opportunities for collaboration with other EMS stakeholders, allowing ambulance services across the state to address challenges and function as a cohesive entity. “I look forward to taking on this new challenge and am excited to continue working with the diverse group of EMS stakeholders to keep California on the forefront of EMS innovation,” Valeri said.
